Had a great day yesterday getting some fitness on with my pal, Kathy. We walked a few miles and then hit the gym before heading back to the kitchen to work on a yummy and fresh pasta dish.

While we may not have been on the Mediterranean, we were able to conjure up sounds, smells, and tastes of the Mediterranean right here in Southern California. Along with my Mom, Sister, and best friends Tina and Jessica, I celebrated an early birthday with great food and company. Thanks, Ladies!
